Game mechanics or 'gamification' are kind of buzzy terms right
now. Still, they represent very powerful ways to motivate behavior.
Rajat Paharia, the founder and Chief Product Officer of Bunchball
– a developer of a technology platform that incorporates “game
mechanics” into digital work, gave a great lecture at Stanford -
“Driving User Behavior with Game Dynamics and Behavioral Economics.”
He's a great fast-talker who clearly understands this space well.
It's a great watch as he covers some of the basic concepts including
those we already use in our social strategy planning.
